Rainbow Loom Earring Instructable
If you like crafty projects, please visit my webpage:
for more fun stuff. (I often post there first.)
Here
is a fun project. Create your own earrings from rubber bands. They
are water-proof, light and customizable. You can create your own
matching rainbow loom flower pendant to match.
You can even purchase glow in the dark bands to make glow in the dark earrings.
These can be made in 15-20 minutes or so once you get the hang of it. The first time might take an hour or so per earring.
The
loom and rubber bands can be purchased at most art and craft stores,
like Michaels, Joanne's, or you can purchase them online. They loom
typically costs around $12-$20 and the rubber bands can cost around
$3-$5 for a pack of 500. There are a bunch of designs you can make for
rainbow loom bracelets and charms on Utube. I hadn't seen this one, so I
am posting my design here. I found using the looms by Rainbow Loom the
easiest to use. Some of the other brands broke my rubberbands because
the horseshoe U shape on the loom stuck out too far. You can get some
great deals online from Joanne's. There was a 50% off day where I
purchased a bunch of rubberbands for around $2 per bag. I have
purchased rubber bands from different vendors and did not see much of a
difference once they were loomed into bracelets or charms. Please share
your creations with me.
